Industrial Engineer

Our client, a Tier 1 automotive supplier , is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team at a new facility in Greenville, SC . This is a high-impact role, serving as a key link between engineering and production while driving process efficiency and continuous improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to established engineering and operational standards
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for both new product introduction and ongoing production in collaboration with the engineering team
- Support the sourcing and implementation of production equipment
- Design and improve machine and plant layouts based on operational requirements and efficiency goals
- Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives across the production environment
- Contribute to improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) at the work-center level to meet performance targets
- Coordinate and support modifications and upgrades to production equipment
- Manage activities related to equipment relocation, disposal, resale, or decommissioning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations
