Job Title Landscape Technician (Stormwater) – New Britain, CT Salary: $18.00–$21.00 per hour Schedule: Full time, 40–55 hours per week (Monday–Friday). Overtime opportunities. Regional travel required: 10–15 days per month, $55 per diem on travel days. About the Role Apex is seeking a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) to support the maintenance of stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. Ideal candidates have experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or groundskeeping and enjoy working outdoors with hands‑on tasks. Responsibilities Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure, including retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other assets. Perform mowing, weed trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance, cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties. Operate landscaping and light construction equipment. Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck (10–15 days per month). Monday–Friday. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience with manual labor; outdoor experience preferred. Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials. Willingness to travel locally and regionally. Must be at least 21 years old to meet DOT interstate transport requirements. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Must pass a pre‑employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. Patient of drug‑free workplace. Ability to perform various physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and working in diverse weather conditions.
