System Administrator

Sr. Systems Administrator2HB Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.2HB is seeking a candidate who shall be responsible for providing support for a large-scale Linux system including installation of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the compute, network, memory, and storage system components. In addition, the System Administrator shall maintain the system security integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.Required Skills:Fifteen (15) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Experience using the Linux CLIExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience in performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environmentGeneral technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system componentsExperience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solutionFamiliarity using Splunk for ingesting, indexing, searching, monitoring, and analyzing big dataExperience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolutionExperience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environmentsExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and AnsibleExperience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and proceduresExperience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and NagiosExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerThis is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
