Mon-Fri 2p-10:30p $20-28/hr!This client is a manufacturing company in Hughes Springs, TX!Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Maintenance Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 to $ 28.00 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 10:30pm)Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systemsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing issuesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components, motors, controls, and wiringDiagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtimeService HVAC systems and other building maintenance needsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsComplete work orders and maintenance documentation using a computerized maintenance system (CMMS)Identify and report safety concerns while following all safety proceduresRespond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requestsOperate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other maintenance machineryAssist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projectsMaintenance Technician Qualifications:Previous industrial maintenance experience requiredExperience troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and mechanical systemsAbility to diagnose and repair production equipment efficientlyExperience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentStrong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environmentApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
