As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Manteno, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and/or delivery appointments in accordance with site procedures. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, driver, and vehicle entry records; issue and collect access credentials as directed by site policies. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting and reporting relevant information to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
