Prepare patients for CT exams, verify orders, obtain consent as required, and position patients accurately for optimal imaging. Operate CT equipment, select appropriate protocols, adjust technical factors, and monitor patient comfort and safety during scanning. Obtain, review, and document images, ensure correct labeling, and support radiology workflow with accurate data entry into the PACS/RIS. Monitor and manage contrast administration when required, including patient assessment for allergies and adverse reactions. Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards; assist with basic patient care as needed and coordinate with radiology staff and referring clinicians.
