· Number of Beds - 20

· Number of Staff – depends on census – 1:2 nurse to patient ratio

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – Charge RN, RN (1:2 unless 1:1), US/PCT

o Night Shift – Charge RN, RN (1:2 unless 1:1), US/PCT

· Patient Ratios – See above

· Type of equipment – Cardiac monitors are GE, Impellas, IABP's, Swan Ganz, and other types of cardiac and intensive monitoring equipment.

· EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have

candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· ICU background

· ACLS, PALS

Preferred or nice to have

candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· CVICU experience

· CCRN, CSC or other Critical Care certifications

· HCA experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· CABG, Cardio-thoracic cases such as VATS, MVR

· TAVR, Mitra-Clips, CEA's, Fem-pop, AAA repairs, ablations, etc.
