APT | Registered Physical Therapist

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Physical Therapist, where you will evaluate and treat disorders affecting human movement across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.

Essential Responsibilities:

Uphold privacy and security standards for Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain professional and effective communication with patients, families, healthcare team members, and external agencies. Provide care within the scope of your licensure, demonstrating expertise through unit-based competencies and policies. Develop, implement, and review comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs. Educate patients on physical therapy care and provide clinical oversight to Physical Therapy Assistants.

General Responsibilities:

Perform additional duties as assigned to support the department's goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not include supervisory or management duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance. Current Physical Therapy licensure through the appropriate state board. Valid BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation. If driving is required, a valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting state requirements are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar clinical environment is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, effective communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements:

Medium work involving occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs and frequent standing or walking for 26-50% of the day.
