NOBODY GIVES A SHIP MORE THAN WE DO____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________THE OPPORTUNITY:Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, this position is responsible for assisting in the shipping of orders at Lakeshirts._______________________________________________________________________________________________________Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pmPay: $17/hr______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Essential Job Functions | Receive + Label + Order Entry + Invoice + Tape + Load + DeliverReceives orders and determines pick-up or ship statusUpon checking for special needs, determines methods of shipping (Air, COD, UPS, PP, RPS, Fed-Ex)Labels boxes with PO's or packing slips, and groups designs if necessary for minimumsEnters orders in computer, records tracking numbers and applies UPS labelsInvoices orders and tapes boxesDelivers final shipments to the UPS office if necessary to meet deadlinesLoads pick-up orders for the customersReads and understands work ordersPrepares and schedules LTL shipmentsGenerates customs invoices for international shipmentsOrganizes work flow and keeps work area clean and orderlyFollows safety practices. Identifies problems and resolves safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards Works actively with others to get the job doneOther duties as assigned_______________________________________________________________________________________________________Qualifications | Computer Experience + Detail-Oriented + Team Player High school education requiredValid driver's license requiredComputer experience required (Word, Excel)Ability to work well in a team Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hoursMust be able to lift over 25 lbs frequentlyAbility to stand for 8-10 hours/dayPrevious shipping experience preferred, but not requiredMust be 18+_______________________________________________________________________________________________________WHY LAKESHIRTS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BE.
