Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and treatment goals.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, tailored physical activities, and mobility training, ensuring correct techniques and safety.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapies, to facilitate effective rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress meticulously, charting improvements and setbacks in compliance with healthcare standards, while regularly communicating updates to supervising therapists.
• Provide education and instruction on home exercise programs, reinforcing rehabilitation strategies and promoting adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies, ensuring patient confidentiality and integrity of clinical records.
• Engage in continuous communication with the healthcare team, including physicians and administrative staff, to coordinate high-quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The PTA will primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management, working with diverse age groups. Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant, specifically in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and modalities as well as familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits
