Work collaboratively alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to formulate integrated care strategies.
Provide education and resources to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond clinical settings.
Support occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the therapy journey.
Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field through continual education and peer collaboration.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA certified.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for all age groups, deeply understanding both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with patients, their families, and diverse care teams.
Adept at tailoring therapy approaches to accommodate a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Confidence in utilizing electronic medical records and adhering to documentation guidelines.
Competitive compensation reflective of experience.
Flexible scheduling designed to promote work-life balance and a diverse caseload.
Opportunities to specialize in areas such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
