Work Environment\nThis is a full-time remote position, allowing flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while directly impacting students’ lives. Regular business hours will dominate your schedule, but you may also need to accommodate evening hours during peak periods of student demand. As part of our telehealth facility, you will utilize advanced virtual tools to ensure seamless interaction with students, maintaining the same high standard of care that our in-person services offer.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and mental health screenings to accurately identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans. \n
- Provide short-term individual counseling sessions, offering supportive crisis intervention to students facing various psychological challenges. \n
- Lead therapy groups and workshops addressing topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and resilience, tailored to the issues college students frequently encounter. \n
- Collaborate effectively with other campus professionals, including academic advisors and student organizations, to ensure comprehensive support for our student community. \n
- Engage in proactive outreach and mental health promotion activities, such as campus wellness events and awareness campaigns, to create a supportive environment. \n
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records while adhering to ethical and legal standards in mental health care. \n
As a licensed mental health clinician, you will primarily work with a diverse population of college students, each with unique backgrounds and experiences. You will address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and academic stress, providing them with the necessary tools to achieve a balance between their academic and personal lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- An active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field. \n
- A strong understanding of the mental health issues prevalent among college students, along with the ability to empathize with their experiences. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with students and collaborate with a diverse academic community. \n
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief therapy models effective in a university counseling context. \n
- Ability to multitask and manage a varied caseload in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, preferable within educational settings. \n
- Experience working in telehealth environments, utilizing digital communication and therapeutic tools to enhance patient care. \n
- Demonstrated success in developing and facilitating wellness programs or workshops dedicated to student mental health. \n
