Description:

Visiting Angels Tracy is a home care organization dedicated to providing comprehensive care services to its clients. We are seeking a compassionate and caring Home Care Aide to join our team. As a Home Care Aide, you will work closely with our clients to provide personalized care and support in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care activities, including bathing, skin care, back rub, hair care, nail care, dressing and undressing, feeding, oral hygiene, shaving, grooming, and bedtime preparation

• Assist clients with self-administration of their medications

• Assist with transportation needs, if necessary

• Assist with meal planning, purchase of food, and meal preparation

• Assist with laundry and bed linens

• Prepare and maintain records of client progress and performed services

• Respond to client requests promptly

• Maintain absolute confidentiality of client information

• Participate in required in-service training programs to meet regulatory requirements

• Demonstrate capability and dependability in following instructions

• Understand the importance of seeking assistance, as needed, from your supervisor and/or others

• Accept and fulfill assignments with the Agency; exercise judgment in accepting assignments

• Perform related duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the management team

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience in the home care industry or related field

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment:

• The work environment is primarily in clients' homes, and occasional work in the office may be required

• Must be able to work varying schedules, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends

• Must be able to travel to clients' homes within a designated area
