The role supports cradle‑to‑grave acquisition projects within the Federal government, ensuring delivery of emerging technology to protect national borders. Responsibilities Pre‑Award Acquisition Support: advice, recommendations, and document preparation for SOWs, SOOs, acquisition strategy, cost estimates, market research, quality assurance plans, RFPs/RFQs, source selection, and other pre‑award documentation. Award/Selection Support: support Contracting Officers and technical offices in formal, informal, and vendor screening source selections, including contract award documents. Post‑Award Acquisition Support: advice, recommendations, and document support for contract administration, modification, delivery/task order support, invoicing, and closeouts. Required Skills / Experience Effective communication with a high volume and variety of stakeholders. Experience with contract awards, modifications, or subcontracts, and preparing terms and conditions in bids or proposals. Experience with contract administration including closeout, pricing, negotiations, and modifications. Experience procuring emerging technology solutions (highly desirable). Knowledge of FAR, HSAR, DHS MD 102‑02, and the acquisition life cycle framework (ALF). Proficiency with PRISM. Preferred certifications: DAWIA or FAC‑C Level II/III (Contracting); CFCM; CPCM.
