Job Description

• Work with team-members building and installing construction projects such as but not limited to framing, layout, demolition, drywall, finish carpentry, concrete, site work, drainage work, grading and other tasks.

• Safely operate various tools and equipment as needed. Including: hand tools, power tools, saws, measurement equipment, etc.

• Use your mastery of carpentry skills to deliver a higher quality of product while coaching other apprentices if applicable.

• Utilize your senior knowledge to work on more complex projects autonomously and with little to no supervision.

• Maintain a clean working environment and maintain good working order of tools and equipment.

• Assist other crews/divisions as needed depending on schedule and season.

• Use your talents and passion to make a lasting difference in people’s lives every day.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 Years of Construction Experience

• Consistent attendance and capability to get to work. A valid driver’s license is required.

• We own multiple properties within the Jackson Metropolitan area and work will shift within those locations.

• Ability to physically perform the required tasks to complete the job. This includes lifting up to 80 lbs and other physically demanding tasks.

• Working in varying weather conditions.

• This is not a maintenance position.

• Ability to work under pressure and have flexibility in scheduled projects.

• Communication within your team and the company as a whole to foster the best possible product for our residents.

• Safety Minded focus must be at the forefront of all you do.

• Code Compliant Work Ethic. Do it right. Always.

• Ability to keep a good attitude and redirect negative crew members.

• Be able to culturally relate to KH Properties and our construction team based on values that always take care of our residents.
