Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at River Town Psychotherapy Center, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to maintain client safety and stability during challenging situations.

  • Keeping accurate and confidential records of client progress, treatment adjustments, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to ensure clients receive holistic and comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with diverse patient populations experiencing a variety of health challenges, including mental health disorders, substance use issues, and emotional disruptions related to physical rehabilitation. Clients may include individuals recovering from surgery, trauma, or chronic illnesses who require both psychological support and practical coping strategies as they navigate their rehabilitation. Your role will be pivotal in not only addressing their mental health needs but also in empowering them through education and crisis intervention skills.

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
