Senior Geospatial Data Scientist

To advance the capabilities of a flagship geocoding product, the full-time Senior Geospatial Data Scientist will manage complex parsing, precision engineering, and spatial verification of US addressing systems while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Build robust systems for handling the nuances of US addressing, including complex scenarios such as rural routes and high-rise units Innovate mechanisms to enhance geolocation precision from areal to specific and differentiated locations Develop validation loops to ensure accuracy of geocoded points against terrestrial datasets Required Qualifications Mastery of USPS CASS/NCOA processes and familiarity with TIGER data and the US postal system 5+ years of relevant experience in geospatial data science Proficiency in Python and SQL, with emphasis on geospatial libraries such as Geopandas and Shapely Experience with spatial data formats including shapefiles, geojson, and geoparquet Working knowledge of PostGIS, GDAL, and REST APIs
