About the Role


We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Oshkosh, WI . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical design for off-highway vehicles , truck subsystems , and new product development , along with the ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.


Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for off-highway vehicles
• Lead and support new product development (NPD) and product enhancement initiatives
• Coordinate technically with customers to understand requirements, estimate design efforts, and plan engineering activities
• Develop and validate designs to ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturing readiness
• Work closely with offshore teams for part design and development activities
• Support truck subsystem and component development
• Ensure timely delivery of design activities with minimal customer supervision

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 8-10 years of experience in mechanical/design engineering
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems for off-highway vehicles
• Proven experience in truck subsystem and component development
• Hands-on experience with Zuken CATIA V5
• Working knowledge of Windchill PLM
• Experience in customer coordination and technical discussions
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with global or offshore engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Understanding of design validation and manufacturing processes
