Director of Business Development

I'm currently partnered with an established water treatment company looking to make two key hires within its Business Development team:

Director of Business Development – Municipal

Director of Business Development – Food & Beverage

Both positions will focus on driving new business across North America, developing strategic relationships, and selling engineered water and wastewater treatment solutions.

Director – Municipal

• Grow the municipal drinking water business across North America
• Develop relationships with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, EPCs and contractors
• Drive opportunities involving RO, membranes, filtration and engineered treatment systems
• Manage strategic opportunities from specification through project award

Director – Food & Beverage

• Grow business across the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector
• Develop relationships with manufacturers, plant/engineering leaders, EPCs, consultants and system integrators
• Drive opportunities involving process water, wastewater, water reuse, RO, filtration and disinfection
• Identify and close complex capital equipment and engineered-system opportunities

Ideal Background

• 10+ years in water/wastewater, industrial water treatment or process equipment sales
• Proven capital equipment / engineered system sales experience
• Strong technical understanding of water treatment xhyhwjd technologies and processes
• Established relationships within either the Municipal or Food & Beverage market
• Proven hunter with strong business development, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science or related field preferred

Flexibility: Remote with approximately 50% travel
