Job Summary:

The X-ray/Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and CT scans, to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Independently executes imaging exams with precision and adheres to safety protocols in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform quality X-ray and CT imaging procedures as ordered by medical staff.
  
  
• 
  Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately, following established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assist medical staff during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  
  
• 
  Document all procedures and patient information accurately in designated systems.
  
  
• 
  Maintain equipment readiness through proper troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintenance.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety and infection control standards throughout all imaging procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an accredited Radiology program approved by CAHEA or equivalent.
  
  
• 
  Valid Montana Radiologic Technologist license.
  
  
• 
  Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with advanced certification in CT.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of radiology imaging experience.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills.
