STV is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Buildings group in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Civil Engineer will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in civil engineering. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects, meeting high-quality standards, and adhering to project timelines. Responsibilities: Experience in civil/site design, land development, or a related field. Familiarity with site development principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion/sediment control. Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications. Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform project design and development. Provide technical expertise in land development, and permitting, to guide project teams and ensure engineering solutions align with industry best practices. Collaborate in a multidiscipline environment with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate various project elements seamlessly. Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for accuracy and compliance. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project-related issues and ensure project success. Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and team collaboration. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering. Proven track record of successful project management and delivery of complex civil engineering projects. Strong proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools such as Autocad Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and Autoturn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating innovative solutions into projects.
