Job Description:

A Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) is responsible for providing care to patients with urgent medical needs, administering medications, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide trauma and stroke care
• Perform laceration repair and orthopedic trauma care
• Conduct U/S IV insertion, IO insertion, and eye exams
• Administer EKG and psychiatric care
• Deliver cardiopulmonary care

Requirements:

• BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications required
• At least 2 years of ER experience required
• Active nursing license
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Dependability and strong assessment skills
