McCall and Lee have been engaged by one of our clients in Iowa to recruit a Nursing Supervisor for their close-knit team.

If you are a new or experienced RN Supervisor that is able to make a change, this position may be worth a closer look. Summary: Responsibilities include overall patient nursing care, collaborating with Nursing Director, upholding standards and policies, planning safe staffing, acting as a patient advocate, assisting in other departments, finding resources, coaching employees, providing leadership during emergencies, and maintaining attendance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting; management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Meets the requirements for a Registered NursecStaff Nurse II.
• Must be able to read and comprehend written materials of a complex level such as contracts, government regulations and other agency requirements written in English.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing including the ability to make effective group presentations in English.
• Must be able to comprehend and make mathematical computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and statistical applications.
• Within six months of hire, understands and effectively uses Microsoft Office, Laborworkx, and clinical documentation systems pertinent to role. Effectively uses internet resources to enhance role.
