About the Role:

As a Cleanroom Technician , you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality lab media and supplies in a clean, climate-controlled environment . Whether you're working in the:

• Automatic Plates Room (APR)
• Manual Plates Room (MPR)
• Tube Department (TVS)

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and produce media for petri dishes (APR/MPR)
• Handle, clean, and inspect petri dishes with care and accuracy
• Sort, label, package, and palletize tubes and lab products (TVS)
• Follow standard operating procedures to meet quality and production goals
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure product excellence
• Accurately complete production and packaging records
• Use basic math skills (calculator) to track counts and verify quantities
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following all protocols
• Collaborate with your team—or work independently as needed

What You Bring:

• Experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, or assembly (preferred, not required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfort with standing, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 30 lbs
• Basic English skills for reading instructions and completing documentation
• A reliable work ethic and eagerness to learn

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Cleanroom/production setting with provided PPE (hair nets, safety glasses, etc.)
• Climate-controlled workspace (some areas with moderate noise; hearing protection provided)
• Flexible shift options:
  • 1st Shift: Early mornings (Mon–Thurs or Mon–Fri)
  • 2nd Shift: Afternoon/evening schedules
• Overtime available during peak production

What to Expect Physically:

• Standing and moving throughout your shift
• Repetitive lifting, pushing, and twisting (up to 30 lbs)
• Hands-on work with small components requiring precision

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LENEXA, KS.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.55/hr.
