About This Role The Ambulatory Care Nurse (Per Diem) at NYU Langone Health will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a nurse who is committed to providing comprehensive patient care and improving health outcomes. Highlights Pay: $70/hour Location: Brooklyn, NY Facility: NYU Grossman School of Medicine Schedule: Per Diem What You'll Do Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests. Collect patient health history. Record information in electronic health record. Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans. Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform patient triage. Assess and monitor patient responses to treatments and procedures. Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans. Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants. Support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies. Participate in quality initiatives to impact clinical outcome measures. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon approval from Nursing Leadership. Experience: Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area. Licenses & Certifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
