The Contract Director Of Nursing (Skilled Nursing) leads nursing operations in a long-term care facility for a 26-week travel assignment in Winona, Minnesota. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff development while managing daily operations and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead nursing staff in a long-term care facility, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents.

• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and resident progress accurately using the Matrix EMR system.

• Schedule staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.

• Mentor and evaluate staff, providing ongoing training to foster a positive, compliant work environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota RN license.

• AHA BLS certification.

• Minimum 2+ years of geriatric nursing experience, with at least two years in a long-term care facility.

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and supervise nursing staff.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Flexibility to work different shifts and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
