Details Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a Magnet-designated teaching hospital 4x10 hour day shifts, typically 7:30 AM-6:00 PM (Wednesdays 7:00 AM-5:30 PM) On-call obligation of approximately 4-6 days per month, including up to 1 weekend per month and 1 weekday per week Floating within the hospital required; no floating to sister hospitals Uses Epic charting system Uses GE MacLab/CardioLab equipment Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting BLS and ACLS certification required RCIS (CCI) or ARRT certification required Washington State Radiology License required if applicable Epic charting experience required Proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring Cath procedures including PCIs and PTCA Experience with support devices including IABP and Impella Experience with left and right heart catheterization, cardiac stent placement, and rotablator atherectomy Skills with Temp Pacing Wires, IVUS, CSI, Shockwave, and FFR/IFR preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include accurate procedural monitoring, room circulating, and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing in on Cath Lab procedures Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and Impella insertion Facility is a Level Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 637 staffed beds Scrubs of any color are accepted and provided for OR personnel First-time travelers will be considered depending on experience Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate RTO limited to a maximum of 1 week; time off cannot be requested during the first 2 weeks of assignment Facility closed for holidays including Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day Prior UW Medical Center staff must have a minimum 18-month separation before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID #P-745788.
