Registered Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group is looking for a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our advanced orthopedic and sports medicine team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Annapolis Junction, MD. About You You’ll play an important role in helping patients regain mobility, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love. Your impact will span every stage of care, from supporting advanced orthopedic, sports medicine and rehabilitation cases to providing skilled nursing care, client education, diagnostic support and exceptional patient advocacy throughout the treatment journey. Your Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care) CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) Required Superior/advanced technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring and patient nursing care Previous experience in a veterinary specialty surgical, emergency, rehabilitation or advanced general practice medicine preferred Has strong interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and mobility-focused patient care Possesses a positive work attitude Self-motivated Excellent communication and organization skills You’ll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $30 - $34 / hour.
