Café Tolia is looking for a skilled, fast, and energetic Sandwich Maker with Griddle Experience to join our team! If you have a passion for food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know your way around a flat-top grill, we want to hear from you.
As a Sandwich Maker at Café Tolia, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches, operating the griddle safely and efficiently, and ensuring our customers get the perfect bite every time.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook ingredients on the griddle (meat, eggs, vegetables, etc.) to exact specifications.
Assemble a variety of cold and hot sandwiches quickly and accurately according to Café Tolia’s recipes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with prep work, including slicing meats, cheese, and prepping fresh produceRequirements & Qualifications
Must have proven experience working with a commercial griddle / flat-top grill.
Previous experience as a sandwich maker, line cook, or short-order cook.
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak breakfast/lunch rushes.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Reliable transport and flexibility to work [mention shifts, e.g., weekends/early mornings].
