Job Description Litigation Associate Attorney A respected and established Texas law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The practice offers a dynamic mix of hearings, motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and direct client interaction. Associates are given meaningful responsibility early and will have the opportunity to develop into confident, well-rounded litigators with substantial case management experience. Qualifications 1-5 years of litigation experience Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to manage deadlines and an active caseload Experience with hearings, motion practice, discovery, or client interaction preferred Professional, personable, and team-oriented Coachable, motivated, and eager to grow as a litigator The firm is open to candidates from a variety of litigation backgrounds, including civil litigation, insurance defense, government practice, or other related areas. Responsibilities Attend virtual and in-person hearings Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery Manage litigation deadlines and active case files Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions Maintain direct communication with clients and opposing counsel Work closely with experienced attorneys while developing independent case management skills This role offers significant hands-on experience and the opportunity to take ownership of cases while continuing to receive mentorship and support from a highly experienced team.
