Due to the nature of this position candidates must be able to pass an expert level ski patrol test upon hireJob ResponsibilitiesPromote guest safety on varied terrain with varying winter weather conditionsAssist injured/ill guests on the mountain and administering first aidTransporting injured guests off the mountainMaintain trails, including hazard identification and setting up closures, safety materials, and other impacts from the resort environmentTransporting supplies and heavy equipment to areas of needPerforming closing procedures at the end of the day to ensure that all guests are safely off the mountainEnforcement of the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort PoliciesChairlift and guest evacuationOperating snowmobiles to various areas of the mountain, as neededOther duties as assignedJob RequirementsPrevious patrol experience requiredPass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test, capable of skiing all types of terrain under all weather conditionsMust be able to communicate fluently in EnglishMust be at least 18+ or 21+ years oldMust have excellent guest service skillsMust work well in a team environmentMust be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environmentThe expected pay range is $22.26/hr - $27.83/hr.
