Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• 2 years of Trauma Level 2 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience, working in a larger hospital (200 beds minimum) and a level 2 or higher trauma center.
Travel experience required unless the clinician has multiple years of experience in a large Level 1 setting.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Surgical oncology experience preferred.

Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
If previously employed by Sanford Health, employment must have ended at least 6 months before the submission date.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes medical-surgical and surgical oncology patients.
Equipment and systems used include AccuDose, bladder scanner, Philips monitors, and telemetry.
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend and holiday.

Floating Requirements:
Home unit is 5SE; can float to any Med-Surg unit on any campus.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
