About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Unexpired driver's license Description: The position is in a critical care unit with 20 beds. Nurses will primarily care for COVID patients, which make up approximately 50% of the cases. Additional patient diagnoses include cardiac cases, post-angioplasty care, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and complicated abdominal or bowel surgery. Nurses are expected to be flexible with their scheduling. Floating outside of the intensive care unit is not common but may happen in unforeseen circumstances. Candidates without experience in the electronic charting system are still encouraged to apply. Candidates will be required to care for patients diagnosed with COVID. There is a strict no false nails policy in place.
