Sterile Processing Technician

Job Details

The Sterile Processing Technician will participate in the all activities/duties of the Department by following policy and procedure for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization and storage of all patient care instrumentation, equipment and supplies. Performs tasks in decontamination, assembly of instruments, sterilization, and may work in sterile cores of the Operating rooms. Participates in the departmental patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Sterile Processing Technician, Sterile Processor Certifications: BLS-AHA(Copy needed)

CERT-CBSPD-CSPDT(Copy needed)

CERT-IAHCSMM/HSPA-CRCST Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history References: 1 Reference in entire work history
