We are seeking a diligent and organized Crib Attendant to manage our tool and equipment crib. In this vital role, often referred to as a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for the organized storage, efficient issuance, and routine maintenance of essential tools, safety gear, and equipment within our manufacturing or industrial environment.

Crib Attendant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 to $21.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 10:30pm)

• Manage the organized storage, efficient issuance, and routine maintenance of a wide range of tools, safety gear, and equipment.
• Prevent workplace downtime by ensuring personnel receive the precise equipment they need, exactly when required.
• Execute product and service purchases, ensuring all acquisitions for production and main office conform to specified quality requirements, achieve the lowest total cost, and are delivered on time and in the correct quantity.
• Administer and maintain the INFOR maintenance system for the facility.
• Perform accurate data entry for all purchase orders generated by the technical department.
• Oversee the complete process for purchase orders, from initiation to receipt of items or services.
• Proactively order replacement consumables, such as welding gases and various shop supplies, to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages or surpluses.
• Log tools and materials in and out of the centralized storage area ("crib") utilizing barcode scanners and specialized inventory software.

Crib Attendant Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience or strong understanding of Purchasing Specialist functions.
• Proficiency in Inventory Control principles and practices.
• Experience with Invoicing processes.
• Previous experience as a Purchasing Assistant.
