Department of Revenue is recruiting for a Refund Protection & Review Supervisor 2 (Revenue Supervisor 2) position. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Program Services Division in the Refund Protection & Review Unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in-state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely.

In order to be considered for Department of Revenue recruitments, you must reside within the state of Oregon. Current Revenue employees who live outside of Oregon may apply and will be considered.

What You Will Be Doing

• Supervise the activities of the Public Service Representatives in the Refund Protection and Review Unit.
• Counsels subordinates and evaluates their performance to ensure continued skill development, development of new knowledge and high-quality professional standards.
• Assign and direct employees in consideration of the workload to achieve division goals.
• Jointly make decisions concerning changes to and/or reengineering of Program Services unit operations.
• Review second level refund review tasks in GenTax.
• Implement new policies or processes.

Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR one year of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

The ideal candidate will possess the following desired skills and attributes:

• Ability to understand complex tax law concepts
• Effective leadership, facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills

• The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
