Sr Full Stack Developer
Location: McLean, VA
Schedule: Hybrid - Onsite in McLean Tuesday through Thursday.
Duration: 3-month contract with opportunity for extension
Interview: 1-step video to offer
Must Haves:
- Full stack but heavily UI focused
- Angular (version 8+) framework / Cypress
- Java spring boot tech stack
- Experience with NoSQL databases is required
- MongoDB is preferred
- Looking for at least a solid understanding of both CI/CD pipelines, Cloud infrastructures, Kafka, if not not hands on experience.
Required Questions:
- Please describe your experience with Angular. Which versions have you used? What is your preferred approach to integration between Angular and backend APIs?
- Please describe your approach to securing a spring boot application.
- Please confirm you are comfortable working onsite work 3 days a week.

Your Impact:
- You will be a mentor to the team, driving full (and accurate) adoption of modern software engineering and delivery practices (Real Agile, TDD, ATDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.)
Qualifications:
- At least 8-10 years of professional experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience; advanced studies and degree preferred
- 4 + years of relevant experience leading modernized development teams
- Deep knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations.
- Good communication skills
- Responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT. Languages: Java, Angular, node.
