4 day / 9.5-hour shift from 7 AM to 5 PM; 1-2 weekend STEMI on call required.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for preparing and assisting with cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker placements, interventional radiology procedures, and related tasks. The role includes monitoring, documenting, and calculating hemodynamic data before, during, and after procedures while providing support to the physician. The technician will also assess and manage access sites and adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with various cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Provide procedural assistance in pre, intra, and post procedure phases.
• Assess and manage access site, communicating with the physician as needed.
• Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

Required Experience

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and IABP experience are required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• RCIS certification preferred.
