We are seeking a Call Center Operations Technician to join our team. You will be part of a broader team providing call center operations and technical support for the City of New York E911 system. We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join a team of technical professionals dedicated to supporting the emergency and public safety operations for the City of New York E911 system. The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communications skills along with a solid understanding of more advanced IT networking and operations. Two years of industry experience is required. The Call Center Technician will provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 technical support and perform diagnostic services on the broader E911 system. The Call Center Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and documenting incoming system diagnostics and trouble calls from the system users.

The candidate must live within close proximity of New York City and downtown Brooklyn.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years networking and IT technical experience
• Call center / NOC experience a plus
• Experience with workflow software like ServiceNow
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills
• Strong attention to detail
• ​Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work night and/or day shifts
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have clean drivers license
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Education:

• Minimum high school diploma
• Technical school education
• Associates or bachelors degree a plus
• Networking certifications
