Staff Assistant

Adecco is assisting in the search for an organized Staff Assistant position in Frankfort, KY. In this Staff Assistant position, you will be responsible for handling incoming phone calls, return emails, basic archiving/filing, data entry, routine clerical, taking meeting notes, & administrative functions, and maintaining paper and electronic files. This is a short-term, 1st shift opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Pay at $15 an hr.

Responsibilities for this Staff Assistant position include:

- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management and other applications.

-Handle all incoming calls to office, direct, and answer client questions in a timely and professional manner

- Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material

- Transfer information from system-to-system accurately

- Located and attached appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies

-Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.

-Archiving

Qualifications for this Staff Assistant position include:

- High School Diploma

-Minimum 1-year prior receptionist/administrative assistant experience

-Legal Secretary Skills preferred

- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. throughout shift

- Computer and proficient typing skills

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills

-Self-motivated

- Good customer service skill

-Excellent attendance record

- Polite phone manner
