Clinical Dietitian-LOH Eating Disorders-Days

Hourly Pay Range $28.47 – $42.71. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Clinical Dietitian PD1 Location: LOH Naperville Per Diem - Minimum 32 to 72 hrs/ 6 week schedule Hours: Monday-Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. What You Will Do Develop and implement a care plan based on assessment of nutritional needs, utilizing relevant data and appropriate methods for estimating nutritional requirements. Provide effective nutritional management for all age groups and update the plan of care as needed based on changes in the patient’s medical condition. Counsel patients, families, and/or groups on prescribed diets in an individualized manner, using a variety of educational materials. Assume primary responsibility in the Eating Disorder Program for patient meal planning, nutritional snacks, meal preparation, and cooking. Ensure meal plans and dietary cards are prepared for patients 7 days a week. Participate in multi‑family meals and co‑facilitate nutrition education groups for patients and families. Work closely with Food Service Management in the design and implementation of balanced meal plans for the identified client base, including diabetic, anorexic, bulimic, and obese patients. Contribute to the nutrition‑specific educational training of professional staff, colleagues, support staff, students, and the community when required. Engage in activities that enhance professional growth and development, staying abreast of developments in the fields of Nutrition, Diabetes, and Eating Disorders. What You Will Need Education, Experience and/or Skills Required: A bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field. Education, Experience and/or Skills Preferred A minimum of six months of experience in Eating Disorder and/or Diabetes settings. License/Certification Required Current State of Illinois Dietitian Nutritionist licensure (LDN) within ninety days of start date. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential (RDN). Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within ninety days of hire.
