Drainage Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a Project Engineer with a Drainage focus to join our Transportation team in Tampa, FL. Minimum two years of professional experience and ability to perform engineering design using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD with supervision. Location Tampa, FL Primary Responsibilities Assisting in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings. Overseeing the production of these drawings and carrying out specific assignments in preparing and assembling specifications. Participating in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well‑defined tasks including collection and analysis of data; performing routine calculations and evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions. Preparing assigned sections of reports under close review of experienced professionals. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Fundamentals of Engineering (EI) certification and/or ability to achieve a PE license in Florida. 1–5 years of experience. Able to perform basic engineering design using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD with supervision. Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices. Excellent communication skills. ICPR experience. Stormwise experience (a plus).
