You’ll collaborate on creative initiatives, contribute to social media strategy, and help ensure brand consistency while driving audience engagement. The intern position reports to the Director, Strategic Brand & Client Engagement and will be based out of our home office in Topeka, Kansas. We work a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site. Assist with the creation of social media campaigns. Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets. Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability. Brainstorm and research ideas for original content. Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience. Help create and edit short-form videos. Develop new strategies for increasing engagement. Assist with photo/video content shoots. Ensure brand message is consistent. What We’re Looking For: Full time students, we built this internship to work around your semester. Start at 10-20 hours/week, flex up during breaks or summer if you want more, and stay on with us across multiple semesters. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Strong communication both verbally and in writing, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or with teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with digital marketing channels and social media platforms preferred. Proactive attitude with interest in marketing, branding, and storytelling. Why Choose Security Benefit?
