Join Our Team as a Local Truck Driver!

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Local Truck Driver to join our team at AMBSIMS & Associates Corp in Harrisburg, PA. as a Local Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a company truck to transport goods from one location to another within a specified area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled driver who enjoys working independently and values a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

Transport goods from one location to another within a specified area
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
Inspect truck before and after trips and report any issues
Maintain accurate driving logs and records
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Communicate with dispatch as needed
Drivers will pull Intermodal freight into and out of the 2 rail yards in Harrisburg PA.
No NYC
Priority loading & unloading at Norfolk Southern railyards.
2 to 5 loads per day.

Requirements:

Valid Class A or B CDL
2+ years of experience as a truck driver
Clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic and reliability
WE HAVE BOTH MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC TRUCKS AVAILABLE. WE ASK THAT ALL APPLICANTS BE ABLE TO DRIVE EITHER, UNLESS THEY HAVE AN AUTO RESTRICTION

Shift Details:

NON-SMOKER ONLY
Tues-Sat
MUST BE WILLING TO DO ANY OF THE START TIMES BELOW
0001-0300
As better, more desired shifts become available, we will offer those based on tenure/seniority
