Building Maintenance Supervisor

Pay: $31.00/hour
Location: Georgetown, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Full-Time


We're seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead the daily maintenance and repair operations of a large commercial campus. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience in facilities management, building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Inspect buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and compliance issues.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Coordinate repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Manage outside contractors for specialized repairs and improvement projects.
• Maintain work orders, maintenance records, and inventory using a computerized maintenance system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Assist with department budgeting and monitor maintenance expenses.
• Train, mentor, and support maintenance staff while promoting a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree, technical certification, or trade school training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and foster an inclusive workplace.
• Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related field) are a plus.
