Job Overview Primary City/State: Shea Medical Center – Skilled Nursing, Night Shift, Couplet Care. Sign‑on bonus available. Experience in couplet care required (minimum 1 year). Responsibilities Provide direct patient care consistent with the ANA Standards and Code of Ethics. Collect and analyze health data, develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based nursing care plans. Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform diagnostic procedures under standing orders. Educate patients and families regarding illness management, post‑treatment care, nutrition, and medication self‑administration. Delegate care to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides, and provide leadership in patient care delivery. Precept new hires and students, fostering professional development and competency achievement. Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, therapeutic measures, and patient progress. Participate in multidisciplinary teams, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence‑based practice discussions. Qualifications BSN within 60 months of hire, or ADN with 5+ years of RN experience (direct or indirect care). Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute‑care or med‑surg setting, and 10+ months in a float role. Active Registered Nurse license in Arizona (state license or Compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; unit‑specific certifications preferred. Demonstrated ability to apply clinical knowledge, teaching, delegation, and precepting skills.
