Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access activities, monitor the lobby, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment. Monitor visitor access, review identification and/or credentials, maintain front desk logs, and communicate entry procedures in a professional manner. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts when needed. Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and/or general questions, and support security-related communications for the location. Observe lobby and reception activity, report suspicious behavior and/or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and attention to detail. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
