Job Description Job Description: At least 2+ years of experience in ETL design and development using IBM DataStage components - DataStage Designer, DataStage Director, DataStage Administrator and IBM information server. Experience in implementing performance enhancements in existing DataStage jobs for reduced runtime/CPU time/memory management etc. Hands‑on experience in integrating data from heterogeneous data sources spanning across mainframes, relational databases, appliances like Netezza, Teradata, flat files, HDFS etc. Strong Unix shell scripting and SQL knowledge. Exposure to scheduling tools like Zeke, Autosys, Control‑M. Thorough understanding of DW principles (Fact Tables, Dimensional Tables, Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schema and Snow Flake Schema, OLTP, OLAP and Data Warehousing concepts). Knowledge of other ETL technologies (Abinitio, SSIS) will be a plus. At least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle. At least 2 years of experience in translating functional/non‑functional requirements to system requirements. Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering. Technical Skills. Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills. Excellent Communication and Analytical skills Qualifications Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 2 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
