Details Work in the Adult Psych unit (1 North) of a 226-bed non-profit community hospital with 30 psych beds Patient population includes schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, suicidal ideation, dementia with behaviors, and diabetes 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week No on-call responsibilities Floating required to Med Surg units or to act as a sitter Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Active RN license (WA state or compact) required Current BLS certification required CPI or MOAB certification required Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience required Additional MedSurg or acute care experience preferred Skilled in psych assessments, de-escalation techniques, and physical restraint procedures Additional Information Provide direct care and behavioral management for adult psychiatric patients First-time travelers welcome to apply These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates. The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
