(USA) Cake Decorator

Position Summary As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What You'll Do Be a Team Member: collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage. Be an Expert: plan bakery production, ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follow recipe measurements, decorate items, adhere to food safety, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, operate and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate product understanding. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, use handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality, and adapt to new tools. Be an Owner: drive bakery area performance, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events, assist members with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: act as a brand advocate, model high‑quality service, work with associates to identify roadblocks, assist in training, influence, inspire, and maintain a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style. Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities using data, resources, and collaboration; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvements; and adapt to change. Minimum Qualifications 6 months experience in fresh production area; must be 18 years of age or older; acknowledgment of successful completion of all required trainings and assessments. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
